Research interests
My research centers around the factors that influence student performance in health professional education, both in the anatomical sciences and throughout the curriculum. This ranges from coursework and standardized testing into cultural impact, student stress, and individual behaviors. I conduct research using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. I am also interested in research based in the logistics of anatomy education both in the techniques used to facilitate laboratory education as well as the identification of anatomy educators in various health professional programs.
